Consortium for Medical Device Technologies (CMDT)
HealthTech Week is a collaboration between the Medical Technology Association of New Zealand (MTANZ), the Consortium for Medical Device Technologies (CMDT), and Callaghan Innovation.
HealthTech Week aims to bring together the entire health technology ecosystem of Aotearoa New Zealand across a week of activities. There are items for anyone at any stage of the MedTech innovation, research, and commercialisation journey.
Callaghan Innovation
The CMDT is a national partnership between AUT, Universities of Auckland, Canterbury, and Otago, Victoria University of Wellington, Callaghan Innovation, and more recently, Health NZ | Te Whatu Ora.
In 2021, the CMDT established Te Tītoki Mataora | MedTech Research Translator with the Aotearoa Brain Project to grow the deep tech sector and support research that addresses healthcare needs, contributes to improved lives, and improves equity of access to care and outcomes.

MTANZ is New Zealand's leading industry body, representing medical technology manufacturers, importers and distributors of medical devices in New Zealand.
